Mia is a multidisciplinary artist who’s creative roots stemmed out of Berkeley, CA, and has been based out of Los Angeles since 2017. Thanks to a childhood obsession with drawing and many years of both taking and teaching art classes, she has had the opportunity to explore a multitude of mediums throughout her artistic career including oil and acrylic paints, watercolors & gauche, colored pencil, and both chalk & oil pastels. Since 2018, she has developed an emphasis on airbrushing which has since led her to many multimedia artistic endeavors, most recently the on-going Delirio Divino in collaboration with Frankie Alvarez. In recent years she has delved into and integrated motifs from the natural world, swirling abstract accents and the familiar figures of friends to bring her fantasy world into the material. It is within this space that Mia creates a soft landing for both herself and her audience to further explore some of the harsh aspects of femininity.
